Introducing Youth-ID

We are pleased to announce the launch of Youth-ID, a European initiative that promotes youth participation and democratic engagement by ensuring that young people -particularly those from marginalised and underrepresented groups- have a stronger voice in shaping their communities. Bringing together organisations and young people from across Europe, the project creates opportunities for learning, collaboration, and active citizenship, supporting more inclusive and youth-friendly societies.

Who Is Youth-ID For?

  • Young people, particularly those facing barriers to participation or belonging to underrepresented groups
  • Youth workers and youth organisations, seeking innovative approaches to community engagement and active citizenship
  • Local communities and stakeholders, interested in strengthening dialogue with young people
  • Policymakers and decision-makers, committed to fostering more inclusive societies

Creating Long-Term Impact

Youth-ID combines training, practical activities, and youth-led initiatives to help participants explore participatory design, community mapping, inclusion, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement. Through these experiences, young people will work together to develop ideas for community improvement, contribute to policy recommendations, and engage in dialogue with decision-makers at local and European levels.

We aim to establish a lasting network of youth organisations and youth groups that will continue promoting cooperation, peer learning, and policy dialogue beyond the lifetime of the project.

A dedicated digital platform will provide long-term access to resources, opportunities for exchange, and recommendations for strengthening youth participation.
