About

About the YOUTH-ID project

The Youth-ID project strengthens youth participation in democratic life across Europe, with a focus on empowering young people from underrepresented and marginalised backgrounds through participatory and inclusive approaches.

It builds the capacity of youth workers and young people through training and hands-on activities on advocacy, community mapping, participatory budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. Local youth groups are established to support ongoing collaboration and engagement at community level. Young people co-design and implement youth-led initiatives and develop policy recommendations. Overall, Youth-ID contributes to the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and the Youth Goals on inclusion, learning, and participation.
